Pouncey Classic  - June 13, 2026

Mike and Maurkice Pouncey founded the Pouncey Foundation as a direct avenue to give back to the communities that helped plant, nurture, and shape their career paths. The foundation focuses on three key cities: Lakeland, Florida; Miami, Florida; and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

For 11 years, the Pouncey Foundation successfully hosted an annual Cheer and Football Camp in their hometown of Lakeland, Florida.

Following their retirement, the Pouncey Foundation shifted gears and introduced the “Team Pouncey Auto Expo & Kidz Zone,” which has been held for the past three years (2023–2025). This event gave car enthusiasts the opportunity to showcase their vehicles and audio systems. A cash prize of $4,000 was awarded to the best vehicle, along with trophies presented to top competitors.

In partnership with New Beginnings High School, the foundation expanded its impact by creating a unified community event in Lakeland. The event featured a large Kidz Zone, including little league flag football games, inflatable bounce houses, and—most importantly—FREE school supplies for local children.

Now, in 2026, we celebrate Year 15 of Pouncey Weekend.

The Pouncey Foundation is returning to its football roots by introducing “The Pouncey Classic.” Once again partnering with New Beginnings High School, this exciting event brings competitive youth football back to Lakeland.

Since retiring, the Pouncey Twins relocated to South Florida and launched their own youth football program. Led by starting quarterback Kayden Pouncey, son of Mike Pouncey, the Brick City 12U football team has gained national recognition in recent years for its outstanding performance in youth football.

Join us for an unforgettable day filled with great food, music, and family-friendly fun. The event will feature a Kidz Zone, a halftime show with live bands and cheerleaders, and exciting matchups between four elite youth football teams competing for the title of Pouncey Classic 2026 Champion.

Kids 17 and under are FREE.

Plus, don’t be surprised if you see some of the Pouncey Twins’ NFL and college football friends in attendance!
